Races
The Anchorage Skijor Club coordinates a handful of races during the winter. Race distances are 5k and 10k, and you can skijor with one or two dogs. These races are on ski only trails, so we apply for a day permit for access.
Race fees vary depending on how many races you choose to skijor.
These races are IFSS and/or ISDRA sanctioned.
Racing sounds scary? You have the opportunity to tour the permitted trails at the end of the race! No pressure!
