Location: Beach Lake Ski Trails

We are currently looking for a few volunteers who will help us set up the trail for the race. Please email us at contact@anchorageskijorclub.org if you can help!

Meet at: The Beach Lake Chalet

Distance: 5k and 10k

Classes: One-dog and two-dog

Race Fee: $20, Tour Fee $10 (Includes $2 Muni Fee) (+5 for nonmembers)

Registration is from 11:00-11:30  for the 10k.

10k race starts between 12:00-12:15 P.M.

Registration for the 5k race closes at 1:00 P.M.

5k start between 1:30-1:45 P.M.

Awards: 2:30 P.M.

Tour start: after 5k Race.

Take the South Birchwood Loop exit off the Glenn Hwy and turn left to cross under the hwy towards Chugiak High School.  Go about 1/3 mile past the high school, the chalet will be on your left.

If you don't want to do the race but want to skijor on trails you normally are not allowed to skijor come do the Tour immediately after the 5K race. (Though your dog will run faster if you participate in the race.)
